The most powerful thing I did for my health!
The most powerful thing I did for my health!
Hello wonderful’s it has been a while but when life gives you a plate full and you have to make sacrifices at times. Unfortunately it was my website for a while. But I have come back with a lot of new ideas and information I would love to pass on to you.
I am about to start a new series of blog posts and videos that will document my healing journey. I have not had symptoms of fibromyalgia or lupus for a year and seven months now. Although I still do have chronic pain in my hips from medication damage (avascular hip necrosis) it is something I am working on healing right now so I am still in the process of healing myself. I have really debated about telling my personal process of healing my body to you all as many are very resistant to any new information that is not mainstream but I thought that if I lose a few people in the process it will be worth it if it just helps one person. I am not selling supplements or going to give you a magic cure just information from a experiential standpoint from my perspective and a few other people I have talked to that have also healed their bodies of chronic illness. You can take the information or leave it that is completely up to you. I am not a doctor or a professional just a person that suffered for over 25 years with chronic illness and pain and have freed myself of suffering.
In todays Vlog we talk about the benefits of exercise and how important it is to not over do exercise when chronically ill. Movement is essential for the body but how do you exercise when you feel so horrible?
Chronic pain affects 1.5 billion people world wide. That means that 1.5 Billion people in this world are in constant pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Many people that suffer from chronic pain are looking for alternative treatments for many reasons. They have exhausted all options in the medical community, the side effects of the options available prove to be more pronounced than the actual condition, or they have made a personal choice not to pump chemicals in their body.
Turmeric has a peppery, warm and bitter flavor and a mild fragrance slightly reminiscent of orange and ginger, and while it is best known as one of the ingredients used to make curry, it also gives ballpark mustard its bright yellow color.
Turmeric comes from the root of the Curcuma longa plant and has a tough brown skin and a deep orange flesh. Both the ancient Chinese and Indian systems of medicine have recognized curcumin’s (Curcumin, which has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, is the most active constituent of turmeric) beneficial properties for thousands of years, and now modern research is showing it may be one of nature’s most powerful potential healers. Emotional pain and trauma can cause real physical pain and disEASE in the body. We are not just physical beings and our emotions affect us and those around us in very profound ways. Our emotions and experiences are essentially energy and they can be stored in the cellular memory of our bodies. We tend to stuff uncomfortable feelings, deny them, bury them, avoid them, or attempt to medicate them away. Most of us spend a huge amount of our life (and time and energy) avoiding, suppressing or inappropriately expressing them. This can be exhausting, frustrating, and damaging to our lives and cause very REAL physical circumstances.
Lemon is a good source of vitamins and minerals which are essential for healthy and proper functioning of the body. It has low calories (29 cal /100gm), low cholesterol and low saturated fat. Like most citrus fruits, it is a very rich source of vitamin C which is an amazing antioxidant. It also contains vitamin A, vitamin B6 and vitamin B1 (thiamine) in lesser amounts. Minerals present in lemon include copper, calcium and potassium. Copper possesses antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Calcium is good for bones and teeth while potassium helps maintain PH and water balance. It is this wide array of beneficial nutrients that makes lemon water and other lemon drinks extremely beneficial for health
Western medicine is well advanced for acute conditions and trauma but when it comes to chronic illness has it failed us? Treating the body as a whole (Mind Body Spirit) might just be the link you are looking for in your journey to wellness.
Many medications are very hard on the liver and when on medications your liver enzymes should be checked on a regular bases by your doctor.
The liver is the largest glandular organ in the body and performs many vital functions to keep the body pure of toxins and harmful substances. It is a vital organ that supports nearly every organ in the body in some facet. Without a healthy liver, a person cannot survive.
The liver plays a central role in all metabolic processes in the body. In fat metabolism the liver cells break down fats and produce energy. They also produce about 800 to 1,000 ml of bile per day. This yellow, brownish or olive green liquid is collected in small ducts and then passed on to the main bile duct, which carries the bile to a part of the small intestine called the duodenum. Bile is important for the breakdown and absorption of fats.
